This project involved the redevelopment of the Sunshine Coast Airport car parking. The need originating from forecasted passenger demand, which is expected to have significant increases in the following years. Rede was commissioned to undertake a Project Manager role to progress the Car Parking Expansion & Diversification Project to design development phase, that is fit for tendering purposes under a design and construct procurement model. The eventual goal of the project was to not only create additional parking, but to create a more efficient car parking experience at the airport, inclusive of improved car rental facilities, premier parking options, and enhanced reticulation for vehicles and pedestrians to and from the terminal building.
