Aurum Sands is a boutique, sea facing residential development, located on Golden Four Drive in Bilinga, on the Gold Coast.

The development includes 31 two and three bedroom apartments in a medium rise tower, which has a striking iconic façade. The building is six levels high and the ground floor includes a resident’s lounge, swimming pool, building reception lobby, and visitors car parking. The single level basement includes 39 car parking spaces. One unique aspect of the proposed development is the support of local businesses - the Developer, Consultant Team and the Contractor are all Gold Coast businesses.

Many of the project challenges involve the basement construction – excavation of beach sand below the water table, and excavation in close proximity to neighbouring structures. Rede Project Consulting’s involvement includes Project Management during the finalisation of the design and contractor procurement, and a Superintendent role during construction.

This project involves the development of a new 2,855m2 commercial building at 28 King Street in Caboolture. The existing site was a brownfield location on which the new two storey commercial building is to be constructed. The development also includes the provision of 35 new car parking spaces, end of trip and bicycle parking facilities as well as a minor retail extension to the adjacent Lakes Centre.

Project challenges included extensive removal of asbestos found in ground and within the existing structures that were demolished, seamless integration of tenant fitout requirements, and, services infrastructure upgrades across the site (HV and Fire Services).

The Contractor was appointed under an ECI / Design and Construct contract to deliver the works.

Located on Station Street and Gilston Rd in Nerang on the Gold Coast, My Centre Nerang is a sub-regional shopping centre anchored by Coles and Aldi. This project involves the extension of the existing centre to create new basement car parking, a  new large format Supermarket box and additional speciality tenancies.

Specialities will be focussed on providing greater opportunities for quality food and beverage offerings, other commercial services offerings (new medical centre facilities, banking) and the expansion includes an indoor Market concept for small Tenancies. The project also anticipates upgrades to the existing centre including new entrance statements,  replacement of existing floor finishes and cosmetic upgrades to internal and external finishes.

Project challenges include navigating complex approval processes and local council negotiations on what is a key strategic site within Nerang, sensitivities around key ecological features of the site and connecting into an adjacent existing ageing operational asset.
