This project involved the development of a new 2,855m2 commercial building at 28 King Street in Caboolture. The existing site was a brownfield location on which the new two storey commercial building was constructed. The development also includes the provision of 35 new car parking spaces, End of Trip / bicycle packing facilities, as well as a minor retail extension to the adjacent Lakes Centre. Project challenges included extensive removal of asbestos found in ground and within the existing structures that were demolished, seamless integration of tenant fitout requirements, and services infrastructure upgrades across the site (HV and Fire Services). The new building was also designed to achieve both Greenstar and Nabers ratings. The Contractor was appointed under a Design and Construct contract to deliver the works.
