This project involves the extension of the existing centre to create new basement carparking and an additional approximate 10,000m2 of lettable area.
Specialities will be focussed on providing greater opportunities for quality food and beverage offerings, other commercial services offerings (new medical centre facilities, banking), gymnasium, large format retail, and the expansion includes an indoor market concept for small tenancies. The project also anticipates upgrades to the existing centre including new entrance statements, replacement of existing floor finishes and cosmetic upgrades to internal and external finishes. In addition to this there is also provisions for a vehicle servicing and car wash facility. The development has also triggered external roadworks to improve intersections and traffic movements to and from the site.
Project challenges include navigating complex approval processes and Local Council negotiations on what is a key strategic site within Nerang.
