This project involved the rejuvenation of two of the most critical taxiways for the Legacy runway at Brisbane Airport. The scope of the project involved replacing isolated areas of the rigid pavement and also delivering an asphalt inlay over the existing 40 year old rigid concrete pavement.

To deliver the project a displaced threshold was required to be implemented which effectively reduced the length of the runway. This project required extensive stakeholder engagement due to timeframe expectations and the requirement for the runway to be put back into service. There was also extensive engineering and site supervision required to ensure that the project was delivered within the contract and project specification.

Rede was engaged to provide project management services, and act as the principals' representative under the contract.
